John passed away on his 72nd birthday surrounded by his daughters on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 at the CHUS Fleurimont in Sherbrooke. After a lengthy battle with chronic illnesses, he fought for his last breath, in order to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible.
John was the husband of the late Carol Goodfellow. He leaves to mourn his daughters Dana (David Beaulieu), Kirby (John Buzzell), and the late Katie May. He was the proud Bumpa to his grandsons Nash and Coen Beaulieu, and Parker Buzzell-Gillam. He is remembered by surviving brothers, sister, family, and friends.
In accordance with John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the welcoming and helpful staff at the Wales home, and also to the medical personnel at CHUS Fleurimont. They would like to sincerely thank close family and friends who reached out and reconnected with John to offer their sympathy and condolences after Carol’s passing.
