Mrs Hélène C. Gervais

Peacefully, in Sherbrooke, on March 18, 2026, at the age of 95, passed away Mrs. Hélène Cannon, beloved wife of the late Honourable Paul M. Gervais, Superior Court Judge.
Daughter of the late Jeanne Larue and the late Honourable Charles A. Cannon, she was the sister of the late Nini C. Fauteux, late John Cannon, and late Georges Cannon.
She leaves to mourn her sons, Edouard and Charles; her grandchildren, Marie Hélène (Stéphane Hamel) and Silvia; and her cherished great-granddaughter, Judith. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Steve L. Elkas Funeral Complex (4230 Bertrand-Fabi Street, Sherbrooke) on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church (20 Gordon Street East, Sherbrooke), followed by interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the palliative care unit at l ’Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Sherbrooke and will receive expressions of sympathy made through flowers.
