Mr Paul Fowler 1956 – 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Paul Fowler on Saturday May 23, 2026, at his residence in Compton, QC. Paul was the son of the late Clarence Fowler and the late Laura Cormier.
He leaves to mourn his sisters: Irene and Dorothy; his nephews and nieces: Tina, Lisa, Ronald, Raymond, Régent, Martin, Jacinte; as well as many other friends and relatives.
Family and friends will meet at the Steve L. Elkas Funeral Home, 601 Conseil Street, Sherbrooke, QC, J1G 1K4, on Saturday June 13, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Paul Fowler would be deeply appreciated.

To Paul’s family and friends,I was deeply saddened to hear of Paul’s tragic passing. It is hard to put into words the loss of someone who brought such a strong presence where ever he went.
Paul was truly one of a kind. He was a long-time co-worker, but more than that, he was one of those personalities you simply never forget. He had a way of making ordinary days anything but ordinary, and some of his antics became the stuff of legend — stories that will no doubt continue to be told for years, often with laughter and a smile.
What made Paul special was not just the humour or the stories, but the way he connected with people. He made work more interesting, more memorable, and often a lot more fun. He leaves behind memories that will be cherished by many of us who had the privilege to know him.
While our hearts are heavy, I hope there is comfort in knowing how deeply he was appreciated and how many smiles he brought to others. I have no doubt Paul would want us remembering him with laughter alongside the tears.
My heartfelt condolences to all who loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
