Mrs. Janis Ward Graham

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janis Ward Graham, at the CHUS-Hotel Dieu, Sherbrooke, QC, on Wednesday July 1, 2026, at the age of 94. She was the daughter of the late William Ward and the late Irene Gillbard and the wife of the late Harry Graham Jr.
Janis leaves to mourn her loving children: Peter, Wendy (the late Steve), Pam (Michael), and Scott (Sharon). Also left to mourn are her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, other friends and relatives.
Family and friends will meet at the Steve L. Elkas Complex (4230 Bertrand-Fabi Street, Sherbrooke) on Thursday July 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. On Friday July 10, 2026, all are welcome to gather at the Eaton Cemetery (Rte 210 – Cookshire-Eaton) at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM, followed by a reception at the Army Navy Air Force (a.k.a The Hut – 300 St-Francis St., Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 0B3.
The family would like to thank everyone at the Manoir de l’Eau Vive for the kind and professional care given to their mother.

My sincere sympathy to all of Janis' family. She will be missed not only by her family, her many life-long friends and especially those she played music with. Janis could carry on a conversation while playing the piano and never miss a beat. I have a number of her tapes so can still enjoy her wonderful talent that she shared so readily. Sympathy to the family of Janis Graham
As I sit here in my little suite in Stouffville Ontario it is with great sorrow that I am unable to attend my dear sisters funeral and share stories with you of our life on the farm.I really enjoyed the music she shared with us and her Mother Hen attitude with all of us.

Our most sincere condolences to the Grahams. Jan has been like family to us for many, many years. I can still remember the New Year’s Eve party at our place when she showed up in a rabbit costume .Her ability to play piano was extraordinary and will be missed.
