We are sensitive to the fact that, during these difficult times, grieving families need help to handle all of the administrative tasks that burden successors. This is why, in addition to advising you and organizing the funeral service for you, we also offer you full administrative support:

  • Write and translate the obituary, arrange to have it published in the newspapers of your choosing;
  • Guide and inform you of the different caterers and florists available to meet your needs;
  • Paying for the services chosen (florist, caterer, church, parish hall, others) to spare you from having several bills to pay following the death;
  • Take the necessary measurements for the placement in the mausoleum, columbarium, or cemetery according to your requests;
  • Notify the various organizations of the death (État civil, RAAQ, SAAQ, Passport, etc.):
    • Directeur de l’état civil (registrar of civil status), income security
    • CSST, employment insurance, CARRA, RAAQ, IVAC, veterans
    • Cancellation of health insurance card, social insurance card
    • Cancellation of driver’s licence, passport, possession of a firearm, others
    • Cancellation of GST and QST credits
    • Request death benefit of $2500
    • Request orphan’s and surviving spouse’s pension
    • Accompany families to different organizations, if needed
    • Others, according to your needs
  • Will searches;
