It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beatrice Vivian Harper Card in her 84th year on Thursday, January 14th, 2010 at the Magog Hospital.Beloved wife of the late Garnet Harvey Card. Treasured mother of Gary (Vicki), Tyler (Cara), Sandra (Glen), Lana (Morgan) and Tony (Heidi). Much loved grandmother of Michael, Travis (Crystal), Keith (Marlene), Timothy (Christelle), the late Clinton, Jasen (Cindy), Crystal (kyle), Scot (Dawn), Lori (Michael), Trevor (Marilaine), Taurie (James),Kaitlyn and Taylor. Also left to mourn are her 22 great grandchildren, Brandon & Meaghan Card, Katrina, Austin, Owen, Benjamin & Ryan Card, Dylan & Julianna Card, Erica & Whitney Card, Sarah Card, Thomas & Mackenzie Fergusson, Mikaela, Olivia, Jacob, Mercedes, Emiliah & Vienna Page and Madison & Jackson Bradley. Her beloved sister Tess Stoddard (late Douglas), brother Robert Harper (late Dorothy), sister-in-laws Vera Harper, Jackie Harper and many woonderful nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at St. Barnabas Church, North Hatley, Quebec, on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 at 2 :00pm. Family and friends will be welcomed before the service from 12 :30 – 2 :00pm. Internment will take place in the spring. A very special thank you to Dr. Robert Masse & the CLSC for their compassionate care of Mom and to the nursing staff of the 4th floor, Palliative Care Unit at the Magog Hospital. To Aunt Tess and Elizabeth, whose love and support carried us all through this very difficult time, we will never forget all you did for us ! Donations to the Barnabas Church in North Hatley or the North Hatley Branch of the Women’s Institute would be greatly appreciated by the family. Refreshments at the North Hatley Legion will follow the service.
