CONRAD BAILEY (ENGLISH)

Bailey, Mr. Conrad 1928-2011 – Passed away peacefully at the Résidence Wales Home in Richmond, Que, on Friday April 8, 2011 at the age of 83. Conrad was the son of the late George Bailey and the late Margaret Little and beloved husband of the late Phoebe Stoute Bailey of Lennoxville. He is survived by his loving daughters: Patricia (Henry Smith), Connie (Dave McCusker) and Kim (Stephan Elkas), cherished grandchildren: Jessica, Jennifer, Claire, Hannah, Nathan and Myriam; dear friend Helen Nobes, and many other friends and relatives.

Conrad was a proud employee of Kruger Pulp and Paper in Bromptonville for over 35 years and gave freely of his time to Lennoxville Community Aid, the ANAF/Hut and his community.

Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to the Steve L. Elkas Funeral Home, 601 Conseil Street, Sherbrooke, Que, J1G 1K4, tel – 819-565-1155; fax – 819-820-8872, e-mail – [email protected]., on Monday April 11, 2011 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

On Tuesday April 12, 2011, the family will be at the Lennoxville United Church (6 Church Street, Lennoxville – corner of Queen Street) from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the Funeral Service at 11:00AM, followed by a private family service at the Malvern Cemetery.

The family would like to dearly thank everyone at the Résidence Wales Home for their kind, and professional care that was above and beyond what was expected throughout his yearlong stay.

As a memorial tribute, donations to the Résidence Wales Home, 506, Rte 243 North, Cleveland, Quebec, J0B 2H0 would be greatly appreciated.
