Mrs Elizabeth Pennington

It is with great sadness that the death is announced of Elizabeth Ann Pennington Towers on January 5Th 2024 at the age of 92 in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
She is survived by her sons Geoffrey (Sophia) and Anthony, her grandchildren Samantha (Shravan), Danny, Peter and Beth, her great-grandson Miles and her life-long friend, Pauline Rouillard.
A graduate of Bishop’s University (‘85), she also worked at the university for many years.
The family would also like to offer a special thank you to the staff on the 4th floor of the CHSLD Saint-Joseph and to Dr. Benoit Carignan for the good care provided.
She will be sadly missed by her family who welcome donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada. https://alzheimer.ca/en

Elizabeth was a lovely person who was engaged in life. She and I go way back to the late 70s when I began working at Bishop's University. She was always welcoming, warm and had a fabulous sense of humor. I am sad to hear of her difficult path in passing and I know she is missed by many.Barbara Hunting

My Condolences
To the Family of Elizabeth ("Betty") TowersI first met Betty when I arrived to teach at Bishop's in 1972 and knew her for the many subsequent years in the various positions that she held. I enjoyed working with her and chatting to her about various topics. I admired her for obtaining her degree in 1985. I was saddened to learn of her passing and offer you my condolences.
