Mr. James Darbyson

With heavy hearts, we share that James “Jim” Darbyson, lovingly known as Tuktuk to his grandchildren, passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 60. He died peacefully at Aube Lumière, surrounded by love, where he received exceptional and compassionate care, following a sudden and aggressive illness.
Jim was a devoted father to his daughters Suzie (Aura, Alexei, and Axel), Jennifer (Cédric; Aisa, Sarah Caroline, Zealend, Azalie, and Onyx), and Jessica (Nevaeh, Jupiter, and Cordelia). He was an incredibly proud grandpa and deeply loved by each of his grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Gary, Ron, and Diane, and many nieces and nephews. Family was everything to Jim. He often said he was the richest man in the world because of them.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his guitar, and the deep love he shared with everyone around him.
