Mrs Catherine Turner

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Turner, age 71, at CHUS Hôtel-Dieu de Sherbrooke.
Cathy was the daughter of the late John Edward Turner and the late Catherine Teresa Dollan.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Jacques Daigle, her sons Steven Daigle and Daniel Daigle, and her two cherished grandchildren, Alexie Daigle and Jayden Daigle.
Cathy also leaves behind her siblings, Cynthia Banks (Stephen) and Craig Wiwchar (Melissa). She was also the sister of Sandra Chambers.
Cathy was born and raised in Calgary, but moved to Sherbrooke in 1986 to start her family. She quickly became a pillar of her community and generously devoted her time and energy to helping others in whatever capacity she could. She took great pride in the accomplishments of her family, tending to her beautiful gardens, and walking her dogs.
In keeping with Cathy’s wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. The family will honour her privately.
For those wishing to honour Cathy’s memory, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from Cathy’s friends during this difficult time. On behalf of the family, we would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the palliative care team at Hôtel-Dieu de Sherbrooke for their compassionate care, kindness, and support.
