Mrs Barbara-Ann Woodard

Magog, 14 July 2026

On July 14, 2026, in Magog, Barbara-Ann Woodard passed away at the age of 77. She was the daughter of the late Frank Ernest Woodard and the late Mary Evelyn Fitzgerald, the widow of the late Jean-Claude Forand and the mother of the late Johanne.

Barbara-Ann is survived by her children: Nancy (Nick), Sylvain (Marie-Josée, and Mélanie, the mother of his children), and Mario. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Steven (Cynthia), Sabrina (Anthony), Bianca, Alex, Christina, Élody (Tommy), Marika, and Mathis (Coralie). She has now reunited with her beloved granddaughter, Jessica.

She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Aydin, Alyanna, Amelia, James-William, Emma-Rose, Fée-Léna, Arya-Jeanne, Maveryck, and Zoé, as well as one great-grandchild yet to be born. She is also survived by her many brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Barbara-Ann was a woman with a compassionate heart, always ready to listen, quick to smile, and deeply devoted to those she loved. She embraced life fully and treasured above all her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart.

In accordance with her final wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the entire home care staff of the Magog CLSC, as well as the palliative care team at Memphrémagog Hospital, for their compassionate support, dedication, and exceptional care. They also extend their sincere thanks to everyone who was there for Barbara-Ann, near or far, and who made a difference in her life. Your presence, support, kindness, and thoughtful gestures meant more than words can express.

Those wishing to express their sympathy are invited to make a donation to the Palliative Care Fund of Memphrémagog Hospital.
