Mrs. Robin Watt

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robin Watt, on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the age of 60, following a brave battle with ALS.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Joan Watt, dearly loved by Claude Luc (Lucie), and the loving partner of Richard Laroche.
Robin will be deeply missed by her daughters, Rachael (Kyle and Morgan) and Lauren (William); her uncle Ken (Shirley); her aunt Venetia; and their families. Her circle extended far beyond her family, and she leaves behind so many good friends who loved her and will miss her terribly.
Robin was smart, funny, and deeply caring. Nothing mattered more to her than her family, and she was always happiest when her daughters were around. Anyone who knew Robin knew how much she loved her animals—especially her dog and her three cats—and she spent countless hours watching the birds at her feeder.
A special thank you goes out to all of the doctors, nurses, and home-care workers who got to know Robin and cared for her with such kindness.
In keeping with Robin’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at the cottage (141 29e Chemin, Le Haut-Saint-François, QC J0A 1G0) on Saturday, September 26th from 1pm-4pm. All are welcome for this casual celebration to remember Robin for who she was, full of life, love and laughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robin’s memory can be made to the ALS Society of Quebec or ALS Canada.

I met Robin on high school, when I moved back to Quebec from Alberta. We had many classes together and mutual friends. In later years, we bumped in to each other again, at Galt, watching our own children play sports. Although we didn't see each other often, I have long considered her a good friend. I have always enjoyed chatting with her and loved her spunky disposition. I am so sorry to see that she has left us so soon. My sincere sympathy to her family, whom I know will miss her very much. I’m at a loss for wordsMy sister, Shannon, and I grew up with Robin in Eaton Corner in the 70s, those are days I won’t forget
The number of memories that we share are so many, those are memoriesI won’t forget.
I spent a great deal of time with Robin and Rick in 2011 and 2012 while caring for my late Aunt and Uncle Jean and Herbert Todd in Cookshire, those are relived memories.I will never forget.
I am very sad as I only heard about this today. May she finally be resting in the arms of God
